It has been a year since the inaugural presentation of the "Raggi e ArchiTetture - Ville di Lignano" Association, held on July 21, 2023, at Levante La Terrazza in Lignano Pineta.
Founded by owners of historic villas in Lignano Sabbiadoro, the association has swiftly achieved significant milestones in promoting and enhancing the 20th-century architectural heritage of Lignano.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the authorities present at the inauguration. Their support and participation were crucial to the success of the event.
Reflections on the First Year of the "Raggi e ArchiTetture - Ville di Lignano" Association
Over the past year, the "Raggi e ArchiTetture - Ville di Lignano" Association has organized a series of events that have garnered significant interest and participation. Among these, bicycle tours through the villas of Pineta, Riviera, and Sabbiadoro have allowed participants to discover and appreciate the works of renowned architects such as Marcello D'Olivo, Gianni Avon, Aldo Bernardis, and Paolo Pascolo.
Another notable event was the guided exhibition at Casa Cavazzini in Udine, which provided a fascinating journey through the architectural evolutions of the past century. The association has also promoted conferences and thematic interventions, fostering ongoing dialogue about the preservation of Lignano Sabbiadoro's architectural heritage.
A particularly proud moment for us was our presence at the closing ceremony of the G7 Youth Education Summit, where we were honored to be invited by the Ministry of Education and Merit. During this event, we personally presented Minister Giuseppe Valditara with the publication Dentro Lignano, co-authored by architect Giulio Avon.
The Association represents Lignano's architecture, emphasizing the importance of preserving and enhancing our cultural heritage to both local and international audiences.
